Progress Report: Transportation, Employee Housing and Construction

THE SIXTY TWO™ Society Progress Report

As the season begins to unfold and Vail fills with that familiar electricity, we wanted to share a meaningful update from behind the scenes at THE SIXTY TWO™ Society. Construction continues to move forward with purpose, precision, and an unwavering commitment to the intentional vision we set out to create. Every week, the space takes a clearer shape and so does the experience we are building for our future Founding Members.

However, building something iconic in Vail requires far more than steel, timber, and interesting design elements. It requires solving the real challenges that will ultimately determine our long-term success and curating memorable guest experiences; that is exactly where we have been focusing our energy pre-opening.

Transportation: We Are Eliminating The Friction Before It Starts

Vail has always severely needed better infrastructure movement of people, gear, and service touch points. Our members shouldn’t have to navigate the frustrations that come with seasonal crowding, parking shortages, or unpredictable village logistics. As a result, our concierge team at THE SIXTY TWO™ Society, addressed this obstacle head-on:

  • We have engineered a streamlined, year-round transportation plan that ensures reliable, priority access to our location for members and their guests.
  • We are coordinating dedicated routes that reduce wait times and uncertainty during the busiest weeks of the year.
  • Our operations team recognizes that the guest experience begins the moment you step out your door—not when you finally just arrive at the top of Bridge Street.

In short: the transportation issues that hamstring others will not slow us in our pursuit of making skiing an easy, seamless and always notable experience.

Employee Housing: Supporting The People Who Support The Experience

One of the biggest obstacles in Vail and a major reason many restaurants and clubs struggle, is the difficulty of attracting and retaining a world-class team of talent. We decided early on that we wouldn't leave this to chance.

We are aggressively securing housing solutions that ensure our team members have stability, proximity, and the quality of life they deserve. This investment isn’t optional for us as owners, it is essential because when you are creating an environment rooted in legacy, elevated dining, and year-round service…your team members become your greatest asset and we are protecting that functionality intentionally and with focus.

Construction: Progress With Purpose

The construction build continues on schedule, with each permitting milestone bringing the vision closer into view:

  • Structural work is advancing ahead of pace.
  • Mechanical engineering and kitchen layout refinements have been finalized.
  • Restaurant and bar infrastructure framing shaping out.
  • Interior design detailing well underway and always under refinement.
  • Fire-pit grading engineered to be completed end of season.

With every swing of the hammer, we are building not just a stunning space—but a highly functional, convivial and comfortable one.

Why This Matters

In luxury hospitality—especially in a place as dynamic as Vail—the “invisible work” is what separates places that struggle from places that thrive.

  • Some will say transportation can’t be solved.
  • Some will insist staffing will always be the weak link.
  • Some believe construction delays are inevitable.

We hear the noise; then we get back to work. Because the families who will become Founders of THE SIXTY TWO™ Society deserve a club built on intention, execution, perfection and excellence.

A Limited Number Of Founder Memberships Remain

As we move toward our opening in Summer 2026, we continue welcoming future Founders into the circle. If you’ve been considering a private conversation with our team, this is a wonderful moment to do so. We would be honored to share more about what is taking shape behind the scenes at the base of Gondola One.

The alpine club landscape in Vail is mature and yet unfortunately largely static and predictable. Most established clubs operate at or beyond capacity, structured around dated facilities, tenure, and volume preservation as a mantra. THE SIXTY TWO™ Society Vail is not built on that model and counterculture to that repetition. We are not scaling amenities. We are engineering experiences, elevating the overall culinary landscape, and most importantly, we are playing offense not defense. Where others lead with square footage and locker room assignments, we lead with genuine hospitality, culinary entertainment authority, and recurring social engagement opportunities. Chef-driven programming, seasonal dining, winemaker and spirits events, and curated gatherings are not secondary offerings; they are the mechanism through which our membership community compounds. Understand, this is a locally owned and operated hospitality first and top tier culinary structure with all the traditional club amenities, plus 10X. Member-priority reservation dining, internal concierge coordination, Gorsuch ski valet services, complimentary transportation availability ease, and intentional structured social programming only create energy and retain value when access is curated. Our restrained membership scale is strategic, as growth without limits erodes intimacy, and intimacy is our vision. At the same time, the membership club market is shifting. Across the Valley, increasingly rigid membership structures are creating friction for families navigating generational transitions and tenure. We believe long-term social capital is built through family legacy continuity, not contraction. Flexibility, applied with judgment, preserves participation across seasons of life without compromising standards and that is our North Star at THE SIXTY TWO™ Society Vail . Emotional connection is not an aspirational language for me here; it is the operating objective. Members are to be known, remembered, and needs anticipated far in advance. Familiarity replaces anonymity, and extended family participation replaces passive access or strictness. The interior design environment reinforces this distinction…..refined yet inviting, elevated without pretense. This is not just another locker room with a liquor license a basket of granola bars and cooler of bottled water. It is a refined hospitality-driven alpine Society designed to convert proximity into participation and participation into social capital. Founder Membership is advancing toward capacity, and our momentum is clearly measurable. As availability narrows, the next chapter will naturally shift to another waitlist. Our model only works with a disciplined scale. Once capacity is reached, it will be protected. We are not following the old-school traditional legacy template. We are setting a new membership hierarchy standard at the base of Gondola One …..where hospitality, unparalleled food and beverage, sincere convivial connection, curate the holistic experience. This is a differentiated business model and membership momentum guarantees it. Rest assured, we have broken the mold and reinvented what the future holds at the top of Bridge Street. In Vail, long membership waitlists have quietly become part of the alpine landscape…..however, there is a surgical cadence to how something like THE SIXTY TWO™ Society is coming together. The majority of the Valley’s most established clubs reached capacity many years ago, and access now requires significant patience often with no material end in sight. We are in a different phase of our business lifecycle, one where Founder Memberships are currently still available , steadily taking shape yet diminishing, as like-minded families commit to generational access. Unfortunately, many families find themselves waiting for a moment that never quite arrives on queue; at least for now. Our focus has been on assembling the right membership community from the onset. We continue shaping what will become one of the most thoughtfully built alpine clubs that is culinary forward and exclusive at the base of Gondola One. Our ethos thus far has been on assembling the membership thoughtfully and at the right pace. However, the scale of the Membership is ultimately fixed. Once capacity is reached, the next waitlist chapter will naturally begin. Member-priority dining, concierge coordination, ski valet services, transportation availability, and curated social gatherings are paramount; these services are only meaningful because access remains intentionally limited. “ Growth without intentional boundaries would compromise the overall member experience and we made the decision early on to protect the integrity of curated access.” The scale of the Membership Society is fixed. The hospitality is personal by design. If you have been considering a differentiated level of membership, whether for family continuity , ease during peak season, or simply having a place that feels consistent and known, this is the season to decide while participation remains open . The experience only works because the size is naturally protected. The opportunity is open. It will not remain that way indefinitely. Please reach out to learn more about our offering.
