Every day I walk through THE SIXTY TWO™ Society construction site and see our vision coming to life. What is happening inside these walls makes me deeply proud.
There is a particular moment in building something like this when it stops being a blueprint and starts becoming a place. We are in that moment; the bones are set.
HVAC is in, the herringbone wood flooring is laid, windows frame the mountain light just as we envisioned, and the concrete stairs leading to our new entry have been poured; a subtle architectural detail that will be the first impression every member has upon arrival. Our walk-in coolers are onsite and assembled, hood vents are complete, and the final drywall installation is well underway. The storefront glass entry door, one of the most striking design elements of the entire property, is currently being fabricated, and our fire pit infrastructure is taking shape in a way that I believe will become the social heartbeat at the base of the mountain.
In the kitchen......equipment is ordered and in transit. Every piece was selected with a specific culinary vision in mind; one that can be experienced firsthand.
The sensory layers being added right now are where this space truly comes alive. Our lighting design has been composed like a cinematographer lights a film; warm, deliberate, and deeply flattering to the room and the people in it. The sound system being installed is world-class, engineered to fill the space with music you feel as much as hear, calibrated so that conversation always wins. The materials, the fabrics, the leathers, and the custom furniture being built by hand, have been sourced and crafted with our members desires in mind. Every banquette, every chair, every surface you will touch has been chosen to signal, without a word, that you are somewhere exceptional.
Our wine list is being curated personally by me alongside the legendary Doug Frost — Master Sommelier and Master of Wine — a living, evolving collection that honors the classics while leaving room for discovery. It will be one of the most thoughtfully assembled lists in the valley. Our menus are being crafted with the same devotion; each dish a reflection of the experience we are building here from the ground up.
Plateware has been chosen. Uniforms are being tailored. The details that transform a beautiful room into an unforgettable experience are all in motion.
