Design That Tells A Story - Inside The Sixty Two Society

Sommelier and white wine pouring

The interior design at THE SIXTY TWO™ Society Vail pays homage to the spirit of the mountain town’s early days, blending the nostalgic charm of its 1962 ski-town roots with an upscale, refined, and modern sensibility. Our design features timeless materials thoughtfully chosen for both comfort and elegant character. Imagine weathered copper, reclaimed antique oak paired with mesquite end-cut herringbone flooring, all complemented by Colorado buff sandstone and handmade artisan tiles.

The custom backlit onyx bar facade was designed with the original Vail chairlift map embedded in hand-forged iron. Additional upscale elements include custom leather-wrapped detailing and stitching, deep Vail blues in the plaster ceiling of the private dining Society Suite, and cozy mohair seating in the Members-Only Living Room.

Every finish—from patinated metals and native Colorado materials to hand-selected textiles—was crafted to evoke a sense of heritage and intention. The result is a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both storied and fresh: an authentic reflection of Vail, then and now.

THE SIXTY TWO™ Society’s boutique and intimate space will also feature a slope-side fire pit, a floor-to-ceiling interior fireplace, a 2,000-bottle custom wine display, and convertible doors and windows for year-round alpine comfort. With an eight-million-dollar full remodel, no elegant detail has been spared. You’ll feel welcomed by luxurious finishes and personalized touches that reflect the elevated design aesthetic our members have come to love and expect in Vail.

We invite you to explore the inspiration behind the spaces

Opening June 2026.

Best,

Brad

From the very beginning, food and beverage have never been an afterthought at THE SIXTY TWO™ Society—they’ve always been a cornerstone. For over three decades, this vision has quietly taken shape—seasoned by years of study, refined through thoughtful flavor profiles, and inspired by the belief that cuisine should be both elevated and unpretentious. This offering is highly differentiated from any other club in the Vail Valley. We weren’t looking to mimic what already exists. We set out to create something Vail has never seen before. Accomplished Chef Mark Adair is leading the THE SIXTY TWO™ Society Culinary Program—a sophisticated yet intimate expression of great food paired with an ardent hospitality equation that’s as exceptional and unique as Vail itself. The menu will be craveable yet approachable. Polished, not exaggerated. Casual, yet deeply professional. This is not a steakhouse. It’s not an Italian kitchen, or a polished-up Mexican restaurant. Not a sushi den, a Bavarian hallmark, or a locker-room continental buffet. It’s a place where irresistible flavor combinations become the signature. Where curated dishes are crafted with precision and soul. Where every menu is rooted in crave-worthy simplicity and presented with casual elegance. Our guiding mantra: irresistible flavor combination appeal. At THE SIXTY TWO Restaurant , we’ll serve breakfast, lunch, après-ski, and dinner—but we’re not checking boxes. We’re setting the table for a different kind of culinary memory—one that begins with the first bite and lingers long after the last sip. Our menu architecture comes from real industry tenure—not trends. It’s a synergy of knowledge, passion, and legacy experience. A global inspiration grounded in noteworthy ingredients, served in alpine comfort. Expect layered flavors , signature spices , thoughtful technique , and an atmosphere where hospitality is as warm and intentional as the meal itself. This is culinary entertainment at elevation —the kind that doesn’t need a label, just a seat at the table. Coming Summer 2026 THE SIXTY TWO™ Society Where hospitality, heritage, and the joy of great food merge.
